Discovery Day

Discovery Day is a single-site, rotation-based event showcasing several academic schools, programs, centers and departments on the Jackson campus of The University of Mississippi Medical Center.

Discovery Day is designed to expose high school (10^th, 11^th and 12^th grade) and undergraduate student groups to health care and research careers and the educational programs that lead to them.

Discovery Day is held in the Norman C. Nelson Student Union, located on the northeast side of the main campus.

We are excited to host high school and undergraduate student groups for this career discovery and degree program exploration events during the 2026-2027 academic year.

All events for the 2026-2027 academic year are full. Please complete and submit the Discovery Day Participant Request Form to be placed on the waitlist.
